VIDEO: Great White Shark Shocks Diver Spearing Lionfish Off Port Canaveral Article Courtesy: Space Coast Daily | Originally published May 8, 2015
Brevard County’s Zack Spurlock was in for a shock when he videoed this Great White Shark on his third dive of the day while out spearing Lionfish for Grills Seafood.
Spurlock was in the water, while Grill’s owner Joe Penovich and his daughter Alli, were top-side operating the boat.
Here’s Zack’s stunning account of what happened:
I was diving in about 90 feet of water, about 25 miles southeast of Port Canaveral when I first saw the shark. It was on the bottom and slowly swimming south.
